Ethereal and heart-wrenching music, impressive artwork and poetic lyrics,

"Sorrow demons joy blizzards" is a one man show that combines breathtaking monologues,
theatrical nuances and overwhelming melodies.
In 2008 Oren Barzilay was diagnosed with a 'Gillian bare' syndrome,
and in a matter of four days was left paralyzed from head to toe.
The healing process lasted over an eight month period, in which Oren learned all over again how to eat, drink, walk and talk.
During the months that he spent in hospitals and recovery centers,
Oren gathered his diaries, vows, and thoughts and processed them into one unforgettable fusion of theatre, spoken word and musical performance.
Oren's vision was to create an intimate and in independent platform for the performance,
and began hosting small groups at his own living room once a week,
charming them with his heartfelt stories and music. This unique and inspiring creation has generated a huge buzz and swept a wide range of people
of all ages and walks of life to come and see the show, and share Oren's unique musical experience.
Following the Show's unprecedented Success, The album "Sorrow Demons Joy Blizzards" debuted in August 2010. The album, with its song book packaging illustrated with artful collages made by Oren, proved to be one of the bestselling albums of the summer, and received raving reviews and wide media coverage.
These days see Oren bringing his one man's show to selected homes across Europe.
